Cleaning Datacard SD260 - This process shall be undertaken to maintain the print quality of the results datacard printer SD260. And reduce the problems that often occur in such a card printer jams, ribbon breaking etc. The right time to do the laundry / cleaning the SD260 datacard printer while the printer is printing up to 1000x print or can also fit any change ribbon / tape. For dry / cleaning the printer itself there are 2 stages / parts to do is cleaning the printer and printhead cleaning. 

Dry way Datacard SD260 / SD360

1.      Printer is turned on.

2.      Open the printer lid and take the ribbon.

3.      Reinsert the cartridge and close the printer.

4.      Open the card dry, insert it into a card input.

5.      Make sure the LCD lights up green / Ready.

6.      Search the menu system.

7.      Select the Maintenance menu.

8.      Then select the Cleaning Card, Cleaning will run automatically.

9.      Once completed, the card will come out in the output card.

10.   Allow a few moments for the rollers to dry for reuse.

Cleaning the Printhead Datacard SD260 / SD360

1.      Make sure the printer is turned off.

2.      Open the printer lid.

3.      Remove the ribbon cartridge.

4.      Clean the head with a cleaning pen.

5.      Wipe the print head evenly.

6.     Once done let it dry before reuse.

Attention

1.     Use supplies and ribbon are original / genuine.

2.     You may not modify the printer.

3.     Prohibited uses an air compressor when cleaning the printer.
